La noix de kola joue un rôle de cohésion sociale important chez les Nso’ des Hauts-Plateaux du nord-ouest du Cameroun. Elle permet aux individus d’exprimer le sentiment d’appartenance à la communauté, la solidarité, l’amitié et la paix, indépendamment des croyances religieuses de chacun ou de l’appartenance à un village.
Among the ‘Nso’, an ethnic group in the northeast region of Cameroon’s, kola nut is an item around which the sense of belonging, solidarity, friendship and peace is being expressed. The kola nut thus plays an important role in bringing very diverse people together, regardless of their religion and village.
Kilian Lamtur Tanlaka est né au Cameroun, il étudie actuellement au Visual Culture Studies à l’Université de Tromsø en Norvège. Together As One est son premier film.
